Nancy has created a large number of commissions for the private and public sectors and typically has ongoing commissions throughout the year. Often the commission idea comes from a current or sold oil with the client interested in that motif but in a new way, color, or size. Sold works page for ideas.

TERMS AND PROCESS
Once we agree on an image, size, approximate delivery date, and price, you will usually be required to pay a non-refundable deposit, typically 25% - 50% of the final price. (If this is a piece I could re-sell, the deposit will be lower. If this is a piece specific to you that is not re-sellable, the deposit will be higher.)
While the painting is in progress, I will keep you updated with photos and status reports. Those status updates will be your opportunity to approve the work to that point, or ask for adjustments. Once the painting is finished, I will send you a photo of the piece for approval. We'll also settle on a framing option at that point. The remaining balance, including the cost of framing (if applicable), must be paid before the piece will be delivered or shipped.
