About this oil:
I just love these little burros. This one has a lovely job...to carry two baskets of beautiful flowers to market.
 
I spent a lot of time figuring out the balance of colors and tones in this piece. While I wanted it to be packed with color, I knew it needed some more muted tones in order to balance out the reds and teals. I decided to go with a cool, light, muted blue at the top with slightly warm, earthy tones at the bottom that would ground this little jenny into the earth.
