About this Oil:
 
Like humans, horses are devoted to their friends and family. In this piece, I wanted to highlight those bonds and, at the same time, create a painting that had a warm, friendly, and peaceful feeling. 
 
To create that feeling, I decided to use an overall warm palette. Even the greens of the background contain a large amount of reds and oranges.
